Impassable Wilderness is the house's official collaboration with Laika for the film Wildwood, based on the Portland-set books by Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis. It captures the forbidden forest beyond the city, where young Prue McKeel ventures to rescue her baby brother from a murder of crows. Grand fir, Scotch pine and resurrection fern lead the way, deepening into red cedar, oakmoss and the scent of rain on earth.
