Terre d'Hermès by Hermès smells like sun-warmed earth in the afternoon. It opens with orange and bitter grapefruit, then the lively bite of pepper with pelargonium and a mineral touch of flint, settling on vetiver and cedarwood softened by benzoin.

Jean-Claude Ellena created it for Hermès in 2006 as a scent about earth, matter and roots, and it won the FiFi Award for Fragrance of the Year, Men's Luxe, in 2007.
